General Position Summary:

This position assists in the development, implementation, and ongoing support of quality assurance for treatment courts, domestic violence courts, and other court programs. In addition, the position provides training and Tier II support for the Odyssey Supervision Module used by probation offices and treatment courts and supports the maintenance and management of the Web-based Infrastructure Treatment System (WITS) software used to adjudicate claims submitted by treatment providers. This position reports to the senior administrator for quality assurance and program improvement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: (The examples provided do not cover all of the duties which the incumbent of this position may be required to perform.)

· Coordinates activities related to the quality assurance plans for adult and juvenile treatment courts, domestic violence courts, and other court programs (educational events, site visits, webinars, peer reviews, etc.);

· Assists in the development and execution of implementation plans for the completion of quality assurance and program improvement activities;

· Assists in the development and organization of quality assurance materials;

· Monitors quality assurance activities to ensure deadlines are met;

· Works closely with the Quality Assurance and Program Improvement Manager to plan, train, and coordinate judges and other personnel involved in peer review processes;

· Serves as a subject matter expert for Odyssey Supervision Manager and WITS software application;

· Serves as the primary customer contact for all incoming and assigned Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services (WITS) help desk cases by providing telephone, web-based, and in-person technical support;

· Identifies, evaluates, and corrects WITS system set up and billing issues;

· Coordinates with the financial office for reconciliation of claims, billing, and budget reporting for WITS;

· Provides on-line or in person training, technical guidance, and one-on-one training for end-users of both the WITS system and Odyssey Supervision Module;

· Works closely with treatment court, probation, and pretrial staff to organize and document processes;

· Establishes rapport with end users of the software application to identify improvement opportunities;

· Proposes software application and/or configuration options to meet user requirements;

· Conducts testing of applications to ensure all requirements are met;

· Assists with the design and evaluation of forms and reports;

· Monitors software applications to ensure data remains accurate, accessible, and retrievable;

· Assists with training needs assessments for users of the Supervision Module;

· Creates documentation and training materials;

· Answers technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members;

· Monitors and documents customer issues and reports possible improvements in processes or systems;

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Idaho Courts reserve the right to consider an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the major responsibilities of the position.

Education and Experience:

· Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered;

· A minimum of five years of experience working in the courts, criminal justice system, or a related field;

· Experience supporting web-based content and tools, including editing of content for style and readability;

· Must have strong technological skills to assist with implementation and support of software applications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Knowledge of court programs and services,

· Knowledge of court processes;

· Knowledge of software applications;

· Knowledge of quality assurance and program improvement processes;

· Knowledge of MS Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher;

· Skill in effectively managing changing priorities and meeting deadlines;

· Skill in analyzing and documenting work processes;

· Ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions;

· Ability to communicate complex information in an understandable manner;

· Ability to make presentations and conduct training with groups of individuals;

· Ability to develop professional, clear and concise documentation and training modules;

· Ability to work cooperatively with other divisions, agencies, and customers throughout the state;

· Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines;

· Ability to maintain confidentiality;

· Ability to travel throughout the state.
