Director, Human Resources Business Partner( West Region) at Humana in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Director, HR Business Partner (West Region) leads the people management agenda in a business unit/area, and acts as a facilitator for the company's management team. Applies broad experience in various Humana Resources (HR) areas of expertise. The Director, HR Business Partner requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment. Serves as the lead HR business partner for the home health business at a region level, implementing HR best practices and advising on diverse people strategies that align with operational goals. Builds strong business relationships with region and area operations, sales, and clinical leaders, applying broad HR expertise in areas including coaching and development, strategic workforce planning, performance management, policy and procedure, compliance, risk assessment, application of compensation practices/methods, and talent acquisition. Analyzes performance metrics to assess progress on key performance indicators within their respective region. Responsibilities: Acts as consultant to region and area leadership; coaches, influences and provides insight on people strategy best practices, compliance, policies/procedures. Partners with M &A team and region leadership to ensure and support successful acquisition and integration of acquired organization. Provides leadership, and guidance to regional Senior HRBP team to ensure strong performance and internal support to region. Guides strategic workforce planning for region, including succession planning for key positions, ensuring appropriate alignment with productivity, growth/expansion objectives, staffing model, and applicable pay methodology. Assesses and reports on performance analytics including retention, continuous listening and exit data, hiring trends, capacity/growth, and productivity; identifies gaps, conducts root cause analyses, and works with regional leadership team develop people strategies that align with operational priorities and key performance indicators. Drives performance improvement and provokes positive changes in people management. Collaborates with HR colleagues and CoE specialty partners including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, compliance, payroll, workers' compensation, learning and development, Inclusion and Diversity.
