As a Director of Software Engineering, you will: Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of multiple development projects by providing deep engineering expertise Partner and collaborate with PM team, business stakeholders and customers to deliver impactful products Help improve process and help business to make data driven decisions Design and drive development of products with cloud based microservices architecture Identify opportunities to efficiently build and release products using latest innovations in technology Drive a culture of documenting engineering best practices and guidelines and overseeing the entire engineering organization's adherence to them. Qualifications Required: A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related field 15 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience Manage a portfolio of multiple data and software engineering projects working with cross functional teams involving business analysts, IT and other subject matter experts. Experience with managing the communication and collaboration between an engineering organization and other organizations (product management, compliance, risk/security, enterprise architecture) within the company. Extensive hands-on experience in usage of Computer Science fundamentals (e.g., Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, System Design, etc.) and engineering best practices. Architectural experience in one or more Cloud Services like Azure/AWS/GCP etc. Hands-on experience delivering products using an Agile Methodology. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including international travel. Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related field A thought leader in the field as demonstrated by publications and white papers Knowledge of ERP systems Experience in one or BI software tools like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc. Experience in big technology companies (Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc.) is a huge plus. Development and deployment of E2E full loop M/L solutions Salary For US based candidates, the base pay range for this position is $152,000 USD to $263,350 USD. Some U.S. states have recently instituted certain pay transparency disclosure requirements. Bonus The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
