This Electrical Designer role involves leveraging Revit and AutoCAD to create comprehensive 2D/3D drawing packages, coordinating with project stakeholders, conducting site visits for verification, and contributing to the optimization and expansion of manufacturing plant operations. location: Boise, Idaho job type: Contract salary: $32.14 - 40.09 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Conduct regular site visits to verify existing field conditions and ensure alignment of design implementation process with project's Basis of Design (BOD) and specifications. Coordinate effectively with project engineers, coordinators, construction trades, and other team members to ensure design reflects project objectives, using Revit alongside Navisworks to prevent clashes. Provide comprehensive 2D/3D drawing packages adhering to site design standards. Create detailed electrical plans including conduit routing, cable tray routing, electrical panel schedules, and equipment layout. Draft One-line Diagrams in AutoCAD showing site and building power distribution. Participate in development and improvement of new and existing products for design change, cost reductions, warranty improvements, and manufacturability. Provide drawing and drafting support for details, vendor submittals, and perform engineering drafting, drawing review, drawing control, and related services required in design of engineered systems.
