Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinate Compliance and Conformance Audit program for Micron Site to ensure obligations associated with ISO 14001 and Local, State and Federal legal requirements are being met Provide oversight of Construction Project and General Contractors to ensure organizational requirements are successfully implemented Lead Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and Spill Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan for construction and existing site Support environmental programs that transition from construction environmental guidance to manufacturing environmental program implementation as projects move toward conclusion Develop, implement, and continually improve Micron's environmental programs, permits, modifications, and operating procedures to assure regulatory compliance Evaluate operations to confirm compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, benchmark against industry standards, and implement effective compliance plans with operational groups Evaluate proposed facility changes, chemical and physical manufacturing processes and address regulatory requirements Prepare regulatory and internal reports and Lead regulatory inspections and prepare regulatory reports for internal and external collaborators Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and implement changes as required Respond as environmental professional to emergencies and rotate through an 'on-call' schedule Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience: Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental-related field; Master's degree preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years environmental compliance experience Strong foundational knowledge/ working knowledge of ISO14001, CWA (NPDES, MSGP, CGP, SPCC), CAA, RCRA, CERCLA Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent spreadsheet abilities, adept at learning new programs As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and profession To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
