N Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY The Marketing Manager is part of the above property organization responsible for marketing strategies & tactics across participating hotels within a portfolio. Under the leadership of the Area Director, Field Marketing, this role partners closely with key stakeholders and internal/external partners to establish marketing strategies and verify successful execution of critical marketing tactics. Drives topline revenue by fully leveraging marketing programs at the property and market level that are integrated with the total hotel strategy. Develops and manages website updates, paid media campaigns, content audits, property merchandising and foundational tactics at the property level across all hotels within their portfolio. As part of the Marketing team, this role is fully connected into resources in their region. The Marketing Manager liaises and builds deep partnerships with their regional teams to verify all brand, local, and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling efforts for the organization, as applicable. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 4 years' experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred. OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related major; 2 years' experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Marketing and Strategy Develops hotel marketing strategies and, with the help of Marketing Coordinators and/or Marriott Digital Services (MDS), manages the implementation and execution of marketing tactics including, but not limited to: Internal and external website updates, audits, copywriting, pull through property-specific messaging.
