Key Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and vision, working comfortably across organizational boundaries and geographies. Influence executives, senior leaders, and team members on strategic decisions across multiple functions and geographies. Collaborate effectively with multi-functional organizations to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, results, and resource requirements. Lead and implement a wide range of global initiatives with global teams. Be guided by business objectives and determine the best methods for delivering results. Implement performance management systems and develop successful teams. Qualifications: Strong leadership ability to lead a department and direct reports. Organized, analytical, meticulous, with a strong focus on results. Proven ability to inspire partnerships and optimally lead others. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven facilitation skills including the ability to influence others. Works on assignments to develop, implement and maintain inspection procedures and programs crafted to minimize deficiencies and ensure compliance with existing Federal, State and local laws, regulations, licenses, permits and ordinances pertaining to health, safety and environmental control at the organization's facilities. Assists in the identification of potential or actual areas of non-compliance through personal on-site inspections. Assists in preparing technical reports based on the interpretation of data, observations, and current regulations regarding inspection findings and recommendations for corrective action. Keeps current on specific requirements imposed by government agencies through reading of the statutes, regulations, licenses, and permits; consultation with other members of the Environmental Division; and collaborating with operating units and field personnel.
