Summary As a Project Engineer you will support Simplot's Agribusiness by supporting and executing strategic capital projects at multiple manufacturing plants. This role will be responsible for managing and supporting multiple capital projects under direct supervision from the Director of Engineering. These projects include implementing new equipment or processes across multiple site locations in order to deliver the best asset deployment value and growth potential for Agribusiness operations. Key Responsibilities Provide Project Management support along with the Project Team to facilitate the design and execution of capital projects by planning, directing and delegating work assignments, making purchasing decisions, scheduling, etc. Responsible for providing project updates to senior management and key stakeholders. Responsible for leading cross-functional teams, scope development, scheduling, equipment specifications, bidding & evaluation, assembling construction bid packages, cost estimating, cost control, gaining alignment with operations and key stakeholders, and providing oversight to construction & start-up activities. Typical Education B.S. Degree in Engineering from 4 year college or university, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering Relevant Experience 3 years related experience and/or training Experience in planning and execution of capital projects including budget development and tracking. Experience in managing technical consultants and construction staff. Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communications skills. Knowledgeable of phosphate fertilizer mining and manufacturing is a plus.
