Sr. Field Network Technician at TEKsystems in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description This role will require extensive travel in the Western US for on site Installs. All travel expenses will be covered. 9 Month engagement Description: The Sr Network Field Technician will provide on site installation services to our client. As a team, we will provide LAN equipment refresh/upgrade to our clients' 350 locations across North America. This role will be responsible for physical installation of devices, removal of existing devices, ensuring ports are correctly installed and labeled, preparing hardware for return shipment, and validation of network post-installation. The Sr Network Field Technician will work closely with Sr Engineers in our command center to ensure efficient and correct network refresh. Responsibilities include rack/stack of new devices, packing of old equipment for return/disposal, wireless network connectivity validation following refresh, and Day1 on site support.
