The Role The Senior Lead Event Marketing Manager plays a key role within Lumen that will work as part of the Strategic Corporate events team to create internal events and key industry events. You will work directly with stakeholders across the organization to align event needs with Lumen's objectives. In this role, you will plan, develop, and execute events and sponsorships including presidents club, town halls, sales kick off, executive leadership forums, and tradeshows. The Main Responsibilities Contribute to a robust events strategy that is strategic to the business. Oversee all aspects of Lumen assigned events - including ideation, planning, design, and execution. Execute a consistent/predictable planning and event execution process. Support the success of Lumen's events through innovation, organization, and cross-collaboration across the entire organization. Manage budgets and create tracking for various needs related to events to ensure we remain at or below budget. Create/maintain a working relationship and establish a high level of trust and competency with sponsors and third-party vendors. Additional Responsibilities Internal Events: Consult with internal stakeholders to determine objectives and requirements for in-person, virtual and hybrid events. Manage multiple events and programs simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. Manage end-to-end event cycles. This includes timeline and program planning, budget management, vendor management, logistics handling and day-of-event management. Source venues and vendors, negotiate contracts, fees, lead bidding, and estimates. Oversee onsite event logistics and operations, ensuring smooth and successful execution. Provide detailed post-event reports by conducting surveys, gathering stakeholder feedback and creating action plans around areas of improvement Tradeshows/Sponsorships: Manage tradeshow sponsorships, project manage booth activation, and execute ancillary events.
