Strategic Development Manager, Supply Chain Manufacturing & Operations at HP Inc. in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description The Strategic Development Manager will lead cross-functional teams providing direction and guidance to develop and deploy capabilities, processes & policies. In this role you will be responsible for driving and delivering on key strategic initiatives from ideation through implementation. This role drives the overall process for the organization and its executive leadership to enable decision making through analyzing, synthesizing, and recommending implementation solutions. In this role you will help organizations manage change and solve problems, so they operate more efficiently and improve business performance. This work requires a blend of strategic thinking, program management rigor, relationship building and business analysis. The Strategic Development Manager will manage business change and business improvement projects. Key manufacturing functional areas include Quality Management Systems, New Product Introduction and Factory Operations. The manager will work with senior project sponsors as well as project team members and stakeholders of varying levels of seniority and experience across the organization. How you will make an impact: Project/Change Management Planning: Work with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, benefits, and deliverables; and create, maintain, and communicate project plans throughout the life of the project. Project/Change Management Execution: Manage activities across all functional areas of a project; manage relationships with key stakeholders; manage project risks and issues; coach and manage the project team to drive completion of deliverables; work with Change Manager to devise and implement change management interventions. Strategic Development & Support: Work with senior stakeholders to develop strategy and advise on best practices for achieving successful implementation of strategy within the context of your projects. Work with peer project managers to identify opportunities within related and dependent projects for greater organizational efficiency and delivery of success. Project/Change Management Growth and Development: Remain current on project and change management techniques, best practices, and methodologies. Coach and mentor colleagues across the business on best practice.
