Systems Analyst 2-IT at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description Must have the ability to obtain federal security clearance necessary for this role which requires being a US citizen As a System Architect, you will be responsible for determining systems architectural strategy, support strategies, and developing techniques to improve system performance. You will implement and maintain technical architectures, frameworks, and enhancements while managing the relationship with support teams and acting as a point of contact for support escalations. You will diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical problems to resolve issues. Finally, you will mentor and lead junior members of the team. We are looking for someone who thrives on working with large-scale, distributed systems and is always looking for ways to automate manual tasks. Basic Qualifications: At least two years of combined related work experience and completed higher education. At least two years of system engineering or system architecture work experience. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, or extensive work experience in these fields. Eligible to receive an appropriate U.S. Government security clearance applicable for your position. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing production systems running Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy Experience managing production systems running Linux or UNIX. Experience with Citrix deployment and administration. Experience with networking and network troubleshooting. Experience with IBM WebSphere. Expectations: Willing to travel up to 10% as needed Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations Ability to participate in on-call rotation Work under corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position Responsibilities Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum.
