Join us and let's get started. Job Description AECOM is seeking an Area Manager to be based in Meridian, ID. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Regional expert on providing technical leadership and guidance in a specialty, providing strategic planning to increase our profitability within area of expertise. Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications. Uses creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented technical problems. Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments. Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. Develops standards and guidelines for use throughout the company. The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually results from progressive experience. Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Valid Drivers License Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Transportation Engineering 15 years of relevant project PS&E design experience 5 years' DOT experience Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa. Proficient with DOT Design Standards 5 years' experience with proposal and business development, client presentations and relationship development Demonstrated success in achieving scope, schedule, and budget goals on a large-scale transportation project. Additional Information Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Idaho will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
