You would draw upon your extensive experience building, leading, and mentoring a high performing product development team. You will have the experience of supporting products in a multi-site production environment and building the processes that balance the tactical needs with the strategic. It is important that you have both strong technical background and strong leadership skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Build and foster a culture of engineering excellence and accountability capable of producing best-in-class engineering products with a focus on team, quality, agility, trust, and timely delivery Drive modern engineering principles and practices by implementing relevant techniques, processes, and best practices Establish and maintain metrics, goals, and quality standards Form partnerships with key functions and senior leaders from across the organization Collaborate on key architectural decisions and design considerations Track and manage key metrics like system costs, team and product performance and business KPIs Develop and mentor upcoming leaders and key engineers Required Qualifications: 15 years managing leaders of software engineering teams in software products Demonstrated history of leadership with the ability to drive the recruitment, development, and performance of a world-class distributed engineering team Excellent technical communication skills and the ability to effectively inform all levels of the organization Ability to form and articulate a strategy for platform modernization along with cultivating the buy-in necessary to execute Experience leading a domestic and globally distributed engineering team Track record of effectively aligning engineering practices with organizational strategy to deliver business results Technical experience running software on mainframe required Proven leadership experience with the ability to attract and retain top engineering talent Able to partner with key stakeholders, including: Executives, P To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
