Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Environmental Health Manager, implements, manages and promotes industrial hygiene and environmental protection programs.
This position is not eligible for remote work. It is an in-person on campus position.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all environmental protection programs including stormwater, wastewater, oil pollution prevention and air pollution
- Oversee asbestos, lead and other remediation programs
- Oversees industrial hygiene programs
- Manages the respiratory protection program
- Coordinates exposure monitoring
- Provide and document training
- Conduct and facilitate environmental inspections
- Prepare professional reports with findings and corrective actions
- Interpret technical data and communicate technical information to non-technical individuals in a meaningful way
- Utilize continuous improvement principles in all EHSS responsibilities
- Cultivate a positive culture of safety by role modeling safe behavior and a demonstrated commitment to safety
- Respond to off-hours emergencies
