ResponsibilitiesThe Sustaining Engineer researches, develops, and prepares specifications for improvements to existing and/or new products, processes, equipment, and technology. Identifies quality and cost improvement opportunities. Evaluates, develops and verifies product concepts to ensure that products being developed are reliable and conform to specifications.
- Work customer tickets and resolve them within established SLA’s
- Handle any and all escalations that come from the helpdesk and triage as necessary
- Ability to look at current processes and procedures to determine efficiency/viability and make recommendations to support findings
- Must be able to navigate Linux environment
- Create/alter SQL scripts to batch edit records as needed
- Participate in daily SCRUM calls
- Participate in smoke check rotation that occurs after hours
- Interface with various departments and groups within IDEMIA
- Continually strive to learn new skills and adapt to an ever changing environment
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a remote team environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to customers as well as team members
- Familiarity with SQL, creating/altering/running various scripts as needed
- Familiarity with Linux commands and navigation
- BA or equivalent experience
- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with SalesForce or Jira a plus
