Idesign is Hiring a Project Management Coordinator Near Dallas, TX

As the Project Management Coordinator, you will work closely with the project management team and key stakeholders to assist in the management and execution of various projects across the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Project Manager in managing and monitoring project plans, timelines, and deliverables within a matrix organization. The successful candidate will work remotely on a contract basis, with 15-20 hours per week of weekday availability, with a preference given to candidates who are available during normal business hours. This is a part-time, hourly, 1099 contract position. What You'll Do Project Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with the assigned Lead Project Manager to develop and maintain project plans and drive task completion.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
Adapt project management methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, agile) to fit project needs.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Assist with smooth communication between project teams, academic partners, and business stakeholders.
Keep everyone informed about project progress, milestones, and potential roadblocks.
Assist the Lead Project Manager with managing meetings.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation (progress reports, risk registers, decision logs).
Develop presentations and reports for project updates to management and stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
Manage project-related administrative tasks like scheduling, resource coordination, and material procurement.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
Bachelors Degree, or currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree with relevant experience.
2 years managing projects, ideally in higher education or e-learning.
Strong interpersonal skills and a history of positive results achieved collaboratively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility in the use of a variety of project management methods and approaches to match project needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

Experience with project management information systems, such as Asana.
Experience with or knowledge of waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies.
