Job Function/Description:

Promote a Zero incident Mindset Safety Culture

Have knowledge to maintain OSHA logs and recordkeeping regulatory documentation.

Able to conduct safety presentations and training to support compliance with safety regulations and the consistent application of safe behaviors.

Provide safety support to maintain and promote safety standards and keep leadership informed on all training and recertification progress for all compliance training.

Ensure that all job specific training has been completed and certified and all new hires are fully, and property trained on companywide safety policies and guidelines.

Lead by example, encourage a safe working environment and correct obvious hazards immediately.

Conducting required Company required audits and additional safety related functions such as the coordination of the onsite emergency response team and Safety Committee

Damage Control for onsite damage reporting to Innovation Group; Primarily preventative action and critical thinking skills for a safer, functional workplace

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or related technical field

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a safety specialist or manager in warehouse operating environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization including customers and carriers.

Ability to prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong work ethic

Travel Required: Alternating locations between Bethel, PA & Hazleton, PA; Main Hub – Hazleton, PA

Provide virtual support to Groveland, FL Facility

Able to walk warehouse floors and assembly operations to establish Health and Safety presence.
