Immediate Employment Opportunity : Highly Qualified HVAC Technician / General Maintenance Worker

Work Remotely : No

Salary : $20.00 per hour

Inspection Experts, Inc., a reputable facilities management firm, is currently seeking a highly qualified HVAC Technician / General Maintenance Worker for immediate employment.

Responsibilities :

Efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of commercial HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration units, chillers, and mechanical room equipment.

Perform general maintenance repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting within the facility.

Conduct crucial equipment readings to ensure optimal performance, maintain maintenance records, and generate reports. Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a valuable asset.

Plan assigned work projects; estimate time and materials required for repairs and maintenance.

Execute daily service tickets and repair calls, ensuring timely completion.

Conduct comprehensive inspections of chillers, HVAC systems, and associated controls, both internally and externally.

Adhere to scheduled inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment.

Perform minor maintenance on electrical systems, including lamp replacement and electrical fixture repairs (ballasts, luminaries).

Schedule, monitor, and evaluate contractor work.

Ensure adequate availability of materials and supplies for maintenance work; order and maintain inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies used in repairs and maintenance.

Inspect buildings, garages, warehouses and commercial spaces, identifying safety issues and necessary repairs.

Identify building maintenance needs and take corrective actions.

Assist in moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as requested. Install and adjust office modular furniture and workspaces.

Deliver clear, customer-focused communication through verbal and written channels.

Provide service that exceeds customer expectations in terms of quality, efficiency, and timeliness.

Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory safety standards and protocols.

Maintain a 100% customer satisfaction rate and continually strive to exceed customer expectations.

Fulfill any additional assigned duties.

Requirements :

Completion of a Trade or Vocational School program, with three years’ experience as a journeyman in the HVAC trade.

Recent experience (within the past 5 years) in installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting chillers (air cooled and water cooled), HVAC mechanical distribution, controls (DDC), and hydraulic systems for a minimum of three years.

Mandatory CFC Certification, with Universal Certification required.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting system and equipment plans, specifications, and operating manuals.

Perform semi-skilled work in carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, mechanical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and electrical trades.

Perform a variety of complex technical tasks in the maintenance and repair of office buildings, warehouses, and parking lots.

Follow department policies and procedures related to assigned duties, including basic accurate arithmetic calculations.

Physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs. and transport equipment and tools weighing over 300 lbs.

Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships.

Use tact, initiative, prudence, and independent judgment within general policy, procedural, and legal guidelines.

Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with strong organizational abilities.

Possession of a valid Driver's License in good standing, issued by the state of residence.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold U.S. Permanent Resident status.

Successful completion of a security clearance investigation and drug screening will be necessary.
