- Supervise and develop an accurate demand forecast at the appropriate levels, horizons and intervals.
- Monitore the performance of the Demand process and continually improving output, accuracy and bias. Uses demand performance and other process metrics to determine improvement opportunities. The Demand Manager ensures that Planning data quality, using proactive maintenance techniques, including demand history validation and outlier correction.
- Facilitate (pre-) demand reviews and drives consensus.
- Coordinate the demand management process for IBP, working closely with the commercial teams, finance and supply.
- Act as the regional gatekeeper of Demand Planning “Best Practices” as the demand plan is the critical starting point for the IBP decision-making process. Maintain relations with Supply, Commercial, Finance, IT, OPEX to ensure continuous execution and improvement of the IBP decision-making process.
- Take personnel decisions for hiring/performance management of Demand Planning teams. Career development / succession planning / skill development Requirements
- Masters' Degree degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
- 7-10 years’ experience in customer facing and/or supply planning roles
- Experience in direct people management
- Global and multi-functional experience managing diverse stakeholders
- Advance knowledge in statistical forecasting models and algorithms – demand planning system capability
- Fluent business English communication skills
- Effective communication skills
- People management skills
- Excellent Analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to apply differentiated Forecast Strategy 4 Quad segmentation model based on business criteria
- Ability to lead change and deliver results Training / Certifications
- Business Warehouse expert user or in other reporting tool training
- ERP expert user training
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or other project management training
- People Management training
