Design Group is recruiting for a Senior Graphic/Industrial Designer in our Atlanta, GA location. This position reports to the Creative Director.
WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Produce exceptional design and product innovation with a trend aesthetic important to the gift industry.
• Prepare files for production, keeping in mind product specifications and budget constraints when designing, and ensuring customer demands are met.
• Develop pattern/graphics in both Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Create 3D renderings in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
• Makes sure renders and presentations are to a high standard.
• Interpret design briefs and accurately complete on time.
• Maintain current trend research at all times.
• Present process improvement suggestions and present new ideas of trend and innovation.
• Categories include but not limited to the following design: pattern, décor, tabletop, seasonal, stationery, gift bags, gift wrap, and related products.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial and/or graphic design or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years consumer products design/development experience.
• Trend, style and aesthetic abilities very important as related to industry.
• Industrial & Graphic Design portfolio showcasing work and design process.
• Must be proficient on Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign including an understanding of pattern design repeats in both Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Teams, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills, close attention to detail, strong organization skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Strong illustrative/pattern design skills and awareness of current/future trends.
• Experience working with mass retailers in the US.
