Blood Bank Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experiencedMLS Blood Bank Supervisorto oversee the activities and team within the Blood Bank department. This role involves supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service, and providing care for patients of all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Blood Bank operations, including team management and workflow coordination
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
• Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing operational challenges and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Serve patients across the lifespan, ensuring accurate and timely test results
• Assume additional supervisory responsibilities as needed
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
• Certification:Certified as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or a specialist in a related field (preferred)
• Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a computerized laboratory environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a Blood Bank or clinical lab setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex workflows
• Commitment to patient care and quality improvement
