Job Description
iGov is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to ensure systems acquisition, integration, support, management, and control of all software, hardware, system, and network configurations associated with the enterprise.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of basic communications, encryption, networking, IT systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Ability to test for vulnerabilities, and monitor networks to support test and operational environment requirements.
- Ability to develop and disseminate network and cybersecurity status reports, metrics, briefings, or ad hoc reports and presentations as directed by the Government for technical and non-technical audiences.
Essential Required Experience & Skills
- 2-4 years of experience
- Ability to develop or maintain cybersecurity systems, such as firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), virtual local area networks (VLANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), etc.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline.
- Background in Cyber Security preferred.
Clearance Statement:
Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The optimal candidate shall possess an active Top Secret clearance.
Travel : Travel up to 50% of the time will be required.
