iGov is Hiring a Sr Service Desk Analyst Near Tampa, FL

iGov is seeking a Sr Service Desk Analyst to maintain hardware systems and software applications associated with ULI architecture. This includes all facets of operations for computer, network, communications, hardware, and software infrastructure technologies.
This position is contingent upon contract award
Essential Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Skill developing, managing, and leading projects with time and fiscal constraints.
  • Knowledge of common customer service elements, processes, and techniques, including the IT Information Library (ITIL) processes.
  • Knowledge of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), cloud computing, data center, server, and other communications systems to identify and resolve system and network issues.
  • Knowledge of office automation databases, devices, and related products to capture and track customer issues in a Ticketing System.
  • Skill troubleshooting customer application, hardware, network, and related performance issues. Contacts customers to provide detailed instructions or status updates to ensure satisfactory situational awareness.
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skill identifying, documenting, tracking, and examining customer reported issues in a Ticketing System to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Skill collecting feedback from customers concerning their experience and build a knowledge management library to enhance the overall customer service experience.
  • Skill performing normal operations and maintenance functions on IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance daily. This includes performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on servers, switches, and other support infrastructure.
  • Ability to respond to telephone calls, e-mail correspondence, and personal requests for technical support related to supported networks, systems, and services.
  • Ability to perform onsite and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex customer problems.
  • Ability to create, manage, and audit user accounts and activity to ensure access, performance, and security guidelines are maintained.
  • Ability to monitor IT systems and applications for risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies. Apply fixes and patches as needed, or directed by the Government.
  • Ability to serve as the single point of contact for customers to report program-related problems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues, with the capability to break down technological processes and deliver clear step-by-step instructions.
  • Draft, edit, maintain, and provide input to local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). (DEL 0008)
  • Analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware, operating systems, and applications software while adhering to mandated security requirements and guidelines.
  • Skill analyzing and evaluating resources and performance to measure progress and make necessary adjustments when needed.
Essential Required Experience & Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Skill testing and deploying IT hardware and software capabilities to global customers as directed by the Government.
  • Skill performing regular tests and data backups to ensure the supported systems and services work as directed by the Government.
  • Skill writing technical instructions, procedures, and training documents for customers.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline.
Travel: Travel up to 50% of the time will be required.
