GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Trade Show Construction Technician will support corporate tradeshows and customer meetings to ensure successful execution. Position is responsible for installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures at Trade Shows.

- Follow instructions, processes and procedures to build and organize tradeshow booth experiences at the tradeshow site based on specifications.
- Tradeshow/onsite execution includes show set-up and take-down, cleaning, and shipping of all necessary equipment.
- When not traveling, this position is responsible for maintaining tradeshow equipment, preparing the mobile showcase for travel and maintaining the equipment to ensure it is all in good working condition.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any minor issues that may arise during construction.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
- Willing to travel overnight domestically to organize events as needed, may include travel on some holidays and/or weekends (travel will be about 25%)
- Willing to adhere to all safety standards with a strong understanding and commitment to their own and the safety of others
- Must be a problem-solver and able to think critically to address unexpected situations.
- Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Must be able to work in a plant environment with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and other elements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (booth setup and dismantle may require some heavy lifting)
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, sometimes for the duration of the workday, while performing various tasks such as setup, installation, and teardown of trade show exhibits.
- Willingness and capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch in order to access work areas, assemble exhibit components, and perform necessary construction tasks.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and platforms, to install overhead signage and lighting fixtures. Must also be able to navigate uneven surfaces and confined spaces within trade show venues.
