**Job Summary **

The Customer Experience (CX) Design Sr Product Designer will partake and drive to realize the vision and responsibility of providing the world-class customer experiences and lead interaction design globally for IHG products and its ecosystem. You will partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop useful, seamless, inclusive and delightful customer experiences.

In this role, you will play a key strategic role in helping drive the future of CX Design. You will have a blend of customer empathy, product vision, organizational leadership, and a high bar for craft. You will drive collaboration, transparency, and clarity between multiple teams, and functions, while cultivating a culture of customer-centric design.

**Essential duties and Responsibilities **

* Collaborate with Product Managers to define project requirements and scope solutions. Lead design process and deliverables from Discovery through Delivery. Articulate and defend the value of your designs in stakeholder presentations

* Research guest needs and reduce points of friction to make things better for our guests. Lead Design-thinking workshops and generate ideas that have a thoughtful approach and actionable results.

* Create wireframes, user flows, detailed designs, and prototypes

* Throughout the lifecycle of product development and management stages provide review and feedback to technology and QA teams as needed.

* Ensure all products have effective and compliant Usability, Content, SEO, Accessibility and Design strategies reflected in end deliverables

* Ensure that all interface deliverables reflect and support analytics and usability research findings and data.

* Improve processes and get things done faster by providing clear, consistent documentation for stakeholders and adjusting team operations for effective delivery within an Agile environment.

****What we need from you****

**Education **

* Bachelors degree required in design-related discipline or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

**Experience -**

* 8- 10 years of progressive work-related experience, with demonstrated mastery of technical and business knowledge and understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position.

**Technical Skills and Knowledge -**

* Excellent relationship management skills and proven leadership skills

* Demonstrated ability to make strategic recommendations related to usability and customer experience.

* Demonstrated ability to distill and organize large amounts of complex information into intuitive site maps and navigation systems.

* Demonstrated ability to understand marketing objectives and design information architectures

* Expert interface design and prototyping skills. Figma Advanced knowledge is preferred, Webflow is good to have.

* Knowledge of project management tools like Jira CORE

* Ability to manage multiple projects and an ability to prioritize and organize to meet tasks and deadlines

* Portfolio - Published portfolio of UX/UI work with case studies

**Decision making responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with project team for design consensus.

* Refer issues to CX Design Manager

**Internal key Relationships:**

* Direct contact with Internal brand, marketing, sales, hotel , analytic and technology stakeholders, for the purpose of designing web and application interfaces according to specifications and/or communicating design direction and project deliverable status.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Majority of work is performed in a normal office environment.
