IHL Group was established in 2007. Since it opened its doors, IHL Group has securely positioned itself as a recognized manufacturer and wholesaler with its North American and global presence across all major channels.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design team to execute development tech packs
• Create and manage tech packs throughout the development and production process.
• Update measurements, and answer factory questions relating to specs
• Correspond daily with factories overseas
• Arrange and lead cross functional fit sessions.
• Influence changes as needed to help ensure product fit and delivery goals can besuccessfully achieved in bulk production.
• Record fit session comments and ensure plan of action, making sure all sample statusesare clearly understood by cross functional teams (production, sales, and design).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years technical sweater experience within the women’s apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of sweater construction, stitches, yarns.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Conduct clear and concise fit sessions (internally and with customer teams)
• Strong understanding of garment engineering, sweater factory operations, and realistictimelines.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
• Proven ability to independently, consistently and appropriately manage risk at all stagesof product development.
• Ability to manage and follow through with tasks from start to finish.
• A trained eye for basic design aesthetic details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Gmail, Google Calendar.
• Machine knitting & programing experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a plus.

Job Logistics

Location: New York, NY – Midtown West

Schedule: We are operating in-office Monday-Friday.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000
