YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
You will be responsible for managing the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, making daily decisions, providing consistent staff support, and ensuring positive and consistent guest interactions. Additionally, you will perform line checks in the galley throughout the shift to ensure proper specifications on weights, temperatures, cleanliness, and organization. You will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training the highest quality hourly candidates. Conducting orientations for new hourly employees and following up with IHOP's training program will also be part of your responsibilities. Your attention to detail will be critical in preparing reports at the end of each shift, including Daily Sales Reports, Daily Cash Interims, Daily Labor controls, and other processes that ensure the control of all company assets.
You will also be responsible for preparing food production checklists and ensuring the proper implementation of all company recipes. Ordering food, small wares, uniforms, and necessary products to maintain operational standards will also be part of your role. You will approve and sign all food or beverage discounts and ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Promptly notifying the Area Supervisor in the event of a guest or employee accident or injury will be essential. Additionally, you will ensure that proper company security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and company assets.
