IIQAF is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician Near Itaim Bibi, ME

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and illnesses. You will perform various laboratory tests and experiments, analyze patient samples, and accurately record and report the results. Your attention to detail, precision, and ability to work meticulously will be essential to ensure accurate diagnoses and aid in the development of effective treatment plans.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests and experiments on patient samples, such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to conduct tests and experiments.
  • Collect and process samples, ensuring proper labeling and identification.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Analyze test results, interpret data, and prepare reports for physician review.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
  • Proven experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory safety protocols.
