Basic Requirements*:
- Valid Class A CDL & Med Card (with at least 3 months before expiration)
- 22 years of age or older
- Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience
- A good attitude
- Flatbed experience is not required but always a plus!
- Clean DOT Clearinghouse
- No felony convictions in the past 5 years
- Good MVR and Stable Work History
You will be delivering and securing loads of steel coils, flat steel, and occasionally lumber.
This is a physically demanding position, you are not just driving a truck!
- Climbing in/out of cab, on/off of truck bed
- Securing Loads- bending, squatting, lifting wood, throwing chains
- Hook/unhook Trailer
- Push/Pull tarps on'off covered wagon
- Perform safety check on truck and trailer
- Ensure truck is clean and presentable
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- Complete required logs
- Follow all DOT regulations and highway laws
