• Minimum 5 years of experience with increased responsibility in management reporting, controlling, and/or GAAP accounting (e.g.: Auditing, month-end close, reporting, consolidation)
• Proficiency in IT tools and systems supporting accounting and consolidation.
• High level of integrity and maturity; good judgment and ability to make sound and common-sense decisions.
• Strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multi-task.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
Job Type: Permanant, full-time. Hybrid role.
Location: IKEA Offices Sandy Springs, GA. There is no relocation offered with this role, to be considered the candidate must reside within a commutable distance.
Salary: $103,127 to $153,226.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Review reports from internal and external accounting resources, providing feedback as necessary to ensure relevant, complete, accurate and timely accounting and reporting.
• Provide financial and management reporting based on standard global frameworks and local legal requirements, plus ad hoc reporting and audit assistance as needed.
• Aid in the preparation of the annual budget and bi-monthly forecasts of corporate function and investment portfolio operations.
• Perform budget versus actual variance analysis, reviewing and challenging reported figures and following up on costs and performance.
• Work closely together with the Business Navigation function and other stakeholders to create insights in financial performance and support decision making.
• Contribute to global projects to develop financial operations and reporting, including transition to a new ERP.
• Document and strengthen internal financial controls and review for effectiveness.
• Promote a well-functioning governance and compliance framework in the organization in respect of the IKEA Code of Conduct, laws, and steering documents.
• Strengthen the IKEA brand and protect people and assets, through developing and maintaining a risk aware culture and contributing to the compliance monitoring activities.
• Promote effective and cost-conscious ways of working, identifying growth and cost potentials through benchmarking, striving for constant improvements.
