Additional Information
• This role is temporary, full-time (fixed term contract until August 2025).
• The preferred location for the role is Service Office, Tempe however remote work from any IKEA AU location will be considered.

• The fixed-term contract is scheduled to commence in July 2024. We will offer comprehensive training to ensure that the Recruiter is well-prepared for our peak recruitment period, which begins in August/September.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
As the Recruiter, your responsibilities will include servicing the Perth, Adelaide, and both Victorian units, as well as managing the Plan and Order points in Cannington and Maribyrnong.
You will execute efficient, effective and consistent recruitment activities in order to attract and recruit talented candidates to fill job vacancies. Your responsibilities will include but not limited too:
• Creating an outstanding candidate experience from initial candidate contact to job offer that is efficient and aligned with our values.
• Partnering with hiring managers to gain unique understanding of positions as assigned.
• Screen, interview and prepare candidate information within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
• Utilise global tools, programs and direct recruiting techniques to identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for assigned and anticipated vacancies.
• Communicate effectively and proactively throughout the recruiting process.
• Analyse data and implement process improvements across the recruitment function.
• Foster and manage effective relations with stakeholders within the country organisation to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Integrate the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion approach and knowledge into the recruitment process.


As a Recruiter you exhibit a deep passion for people and a strong commitment to enhancing the candidate and co-worker experience through perfect recruitment processes. You act as an ambassador for IKEA’s culture and values, thriving in a dynamic environment where tactical and operational tasks are combined. Your ability to set and achieve goals, complete tasks, and deliver results is admirable. You excel at working independently, and able to influence others, taking initiative, and assuming responsibility. Your effective verbal and written communication skills allow you to express your ideas and opinions with clarity.
However, this role isn’t for the faint-hearted. It involves consistent high volumes and requires exceptional stakeholder management skills. We’re seeking someone with top-notch administration and organisational abilities—a true juggler of competing priorities. While prior recruitment experience is advantageous, it’s not essential.
