Create, maintain and keep current documentation and electronic versions of all electrical and schematics including panel layouts, PLC programs. Provide expertise in PLC Control Systems and Programming in the development and troubleshooting of Electrical and Automation Control Systems. Design circuit and layout drawings of control and power panels Coordinate with engineering and shop personnel on existing machine control modifications to robotic and electrical systems. Develop further knowledge and skills in the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and LEAN principles. Assist in training the shop personnel and assisting them in checking or trouble shooting equipment as required. Coordinate project installations with Maintenance and contractors. Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide the necessary solutions to eliminate root causes. Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE; Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering With a minimum of 12 years working experience in the Electrical Engineering field Experience in the design and operation of high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment Ability to manage multiple projects and activities in parallel and drive them to achieve the intended results Ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment Knowledge of Siemens controls required.
