Position Summary:

This position is responsible for decision making on extension of credit to ilani guests, maintaining guest credit files, and coordination and communication with gaming and marketing departments related to guest credit lines.

Shift Hours / Days: Tuesday through Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
Grants, suspends, or denies casino credit to guests in accordance with ilani policy, internal controls, and guidelines.
Process casino credit applications in accordance with departmental procedures.
Communicate with guests regarding credit decisions.
Maintains proper documentation supporting various credit decisions.
Maintains guest credit files and communicate with other casinos to ensure expedient verification of guest credit profile.
Communicate and interact with gaming, marketing, and player services in relation to guest credit decisioning and credit balances.
Evaluates existing credit patrons for permanent or temporary credit limit increases when requested.
Verifies and post confidential credit information into the computerized credit systems.
Track and maintain casino credit balances and statistics for internal reporting purposes.
Completes In-house Suspicious Activity reports in accordance with the Title 31 Compliance program.
Must maintain the strictest confidence of all confidential information.
Perform other related duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a in a high-volume casino gaming environment working with guest financial and personal information.
Minimum one (1) year experience in a front-line guest facing service role.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations related to Casino Credit or the ability to quickly learn and apply to the job.
Ability to read and interpret Consumer Credit Bureaus, Gaming Reports and Bank Verification reports.
Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Title 31 reporting requirements. Must take and pass the annual Title 31 testing.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work nights or weekends as required to meet business needs.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years of experience in a credit decision making capacity in a high-volume casino gaming environment or five years of experience outside of the industry.
Three (3) years of experience assisting VIP level (high value) guests.
