iLink Resources is Hiring a Remote Construction Accounting Administrator (CB)
In search of a Construction Accounting Administrator for our Hoffman Estates team. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring completion of projects by maintaining tracking systems, flow of all financial information and providing administrative support throughout the projects. Hiring process is contract to direct. Responsibilities:
Create and maintain tracking systems for executed contracts and purchase orders.
Assist in the development of tracking systems, form and project management using ProCore for Submittal Logs, Contract & Changes Log, Request-for-Information Log, Document Log, Issues, Observations & Change Events, Meeting (agendas & minutes), and Prepare invoices and track pay requests.
Lead project and company accounting using accounting software's (QuickBooks) for processing invoices, expense reports, maintaining AR/ AP and tracking reimbursements.
Solicit insurance certificates, gather and check lien waivers, prepare draw request in format required by lender/owner/title company and follow-up to expedite receipt/review/payment.
Assist project team with sample pickups, selections, purchases, deliveries, and field office organization or documentation from time to time.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
5 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in accounting and construction management.
Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Computer / software proficiency and willingness to learn new software.
Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently with little supervision.
