Summary
The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Essential Functions

* Vacuum carpets and sweep.
* Dust and mop floors.
* Spot clean floor coverings, walls, doors and window glass.
* Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
* Empty and reline wastebaskets.
* Clean drinking fountains.
* Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
* Pick up trash and refuse and deposit in compactor.
* Stock custodial supplies in work areas.
* Assist during emergency situations or hazardous conditions.
* Assist custodians.
* Train housekeepers as needed.
* Perform general set-up work as assigned.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 6 months or more of direct experience in Housekeeping OR 1 year or more of related experience
* Valid driver's license or equivalent with an acceptable driving record
* Manual dexterity
* Physical ability to lift and carry safely a minimum of 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
* 1 year direct experience in Housekeeping
