Illinois Department of Human Services is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Bolingbrook, IL

*SEEKING IMMEDIATE HIRE*

The position is for a home health aide to assist a disabled patient in morning and evening activities each day of the week. A schedule will be created based on applicants availability. The designated shifts are:

Sunday - Saturday

8am to 12pm

6 to 9pm

Shifts needing immediate coverage are the 8am - 12pm Sunday through Saturday and 6-9pm Friday through Saturday.

The position expectations consist of:

  • assisting patient in and out of bed (wheelchair bound)
  • daily activities such as showering and teeth brushing
  • preparation of noncomplex meals such as breakfast (making coffee) and dinner
  • daily cleaning activities and chores around the house
  • socializing with patient such as playing cards, board games, etc.

This is a position funded through the Department of Human Services (DHS) personal assistant job title. There is an application that would need to be submitted to DHS for approval prior to working. Please reach out with any questions and interest so we can schedule an on-site interview.
