Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our Federal Product Management team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Manager to analyze market trends, gather and document requirements, and support the development of innovative products. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving product success.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose to work from one of our following office locations:
Springfield, Illinois St. Louis, Missouri Miami, Florida Tampa, Florida

Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and marketing, to gather and document product requirements.
- Analyze and interpret business needs to translate them into actionable requirements for the product development team.
- Create detailed user stories, user journeys, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Monitor and aggregate the operational documentation from each module lead
- Perform analysis and create mapping documents between current state access role and future state access roles.
- Support the testing strategy, execution, and manage defect resolution during Mock/UAT.
- Assist Project Leads with Readiness review and administrative project requirements.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data to provide insights and recommendations to the Product Manager.
- Monitor competitors' products and provide benchmarking reports.
Product Development Support
- Work closely with the Product Manager to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Assist in the development and prioritization of product features and enhancements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to ensure successful product delivery.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze product performance metrics and provide regular reports to the Product Manager.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track product success.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive product improvements.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between the Product Manager and other departments, ensuring clear communication of product goals and requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and ensure alignment on product initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders to communicate product progress and updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a product management environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools and techniques.
- Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Required: US Citizenship under Federal Executive Orders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and experience working with design teams.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
