Summary

Perform edits and balance automated remittance customers lockbox work, create data and/or image files for electronic delivery to customers. Upload images for online viewing. Package customer work for delivery to customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Enter and verify customer specific information from documents and checks; verify image quality of items keyed.

• Run batch edit reports on all automated customers; process end of day balancing for all automated customers; run final reports and send transmission files to customers.
• Perform research for customer inquiries.
• Train temporary data entry staff on input procedures.
• Load images to all warehouses for customers’ research.
• Manage retention and shred customer documents.
• Other Duties as assigned

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities; may need to assist temporary staff with general questions.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

10-key and typing experience strongly desired. Previous data experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Basic 10 key skills

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities

Show attention to detail and work well in a 'high' pressure deadline-oriented environment; Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a computer monitor; Must be able to work flexible and extended hours - possible weekend rotation.
