Gaming Shift Supervisor
Plans, assigns, and reviews the activities of subordinate Gaming Special Agents and State Police personnel tasked with conducting regulatory and criminal investigations related to the Illinois Gambling Act, Video Gaming Act, Sports Wagering Act, State Fair Gaming Act, and any other statutes for which the Illinois Gaming Board has jurisdiction.
Provides guidance and training to assigned staff.
Serves as a working supervisor and is responsible for a reduced caseload.
Assists principal investigator in conducting the more complex investigations of new casino owners or other applicants for video gaming or sports wagering licenses that have complex ownership structures.
Works closely with other law enforcement agencies and gaming jurisdictions in conducting joint investigations or in exchanging information on cases of mutual concern.
Participates in various trainings, including but not limited to: Firearms; Professional; Fitness.
Serves as supervisor in the absence of the Gaming Unit Supervisor keeping the chain of command apprised of any information or significant events that occur in the absence of the Gaming Unit Supervisor.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
