Salary $70,000 to $80,000 RELOCATION PACKAGE Our client is currently hiring a Facilities Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team in the Davenport, IA area.

The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for providing guidance and supervision to the crew members in order to ensure efficient and productive operations.

Working under the direction of the Superintendent, the incumbent will focus on maintaining productivity, safety, quality, and delivery performance while promoting a customer-centric environment.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and the ability to motivate employees towards achieving organizational goals. Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe work environment and implementing environmentally-friendly practices;
• Conducting safety discussions and reviews;
• Managing and supervising subordinates to achieve operational targets;
• Providing training, coaching, and mentoring to employees for professional development;
• Assigning tasks to crew members based on business priorities;
• Developing crew schedules and managing staffing requirements;
• Leading a diverse and customer-oriented maintenance team;
• Collaborating with employees to identify and address production challenges;
• Analyzing data to determine root causes of issues;
• Effectively managing assets to ensure optimal performance;
• Driving quality improvements and waste elimination;
• Making fair and equitable decisions regarding employee performance;
• Building relationships and resolving interpersonal issues;
• Rotating shifts may be required depending on business conditions.

Qualifications :

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution;
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience;
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience;
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting;
• Knowledge of mechanical systems;
• Experience with union environments;
• Familiarity with HR / IR policies and agreements;
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
