Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations efficiently and accurately, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Prepare patients for examinations, including explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Educate patients and family members about their ultrasound results in a clear and concise manner.
- Process ultrasound images and ensure timely transmission of reports to physicians.
- Organize and maintain patient data for radiologist review.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized examination environment.
- Participate in ongoing educational programs to stay current with the latest advancements in sonography.
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned (optional depending on your specific needs).
- Certification- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in a least one of the advanced certifications, but preferably two.
- Certification-Basic Life Support (CPR) with in 7 days of hire
- Strong technical skills in ultrasound operation and image acquisition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
