IMA Financial Group is Hiring a Senior Retirement Plan Manager Near Kansas, KS
- Manages existing client relationships with moderate guidance by processing client requests, resolving client inquiries, and making sure key client information is up to date
- Schedules, prepares for, and facilitates presentations. Presentations may include enrollment meetings, financial education meetings, and plan reviews with the committee, etc. as requested by the plan sponsor
- Works with Retirement Plan Advisor to provide strategic recommendations & implementation of plan enhancements, including but not limited to vendor selection & conversions, plan design optimization, plan fee benchmarking, compliance oversight, and investment due diligence
- Demonstrates knowledge concerning ERISA laws & guidelines for the retirement plan industry
- Drives client retention by delivering annual plan reviews and initiating proactive client contact
- Promotes new products and services to plan sponsors
- Engages in available training and educational opportunities to stay current on the industry trends as well as internal policies and procedures
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7 years related experience in the retirement plan industry required
- Life Insurance and Variable Contracts licenses (required for group annuity products), required to obtain within 30-90 days of hire, unless already licensed
- Attains and maintains FINRA Series 7 & 66 (S63 & S65 acceptable as well) strongly preferred
- AIF designation is preferred
- Limited travel required (less than 25%)
- Intermediate MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
