Job Brief:
ITG is looking for a Territory Account Manager to help increase sales and address customer needs within the greater DFW area.
Territory Account Managers responsibilities include representing our products and services to potential clients, identifying specific customer characteristics and recommending ways to promote ways to help clients through technology. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities:
· Generate Leads.
· Act as a point of contact for target customers within assigned territory.
· Identify local business opportunities and challenges.
· Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
· Present ITG products and services to prospective customers.
· Identify Customer needs and recommend product and software solutions.
· Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
· Attend meetings, sales events, and trainings to keep abreast of the latest technology developments.
· Work closely with fellow Territory Account Managers and other internal team members to meet individual and group sales targets.
· Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services.
· Cross-sell products, when appropriate.
· Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations.
Requirements:
· Commitment to excellent customer service.
· Ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
· Resilient, ability to overcome challenges.
· Experience in outside sales is preferred, but not a requirement.
· Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
· Highly self-motivated and driven.
· Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· 4 Year degree preferred, but not required
