ABOUT THE POSITION

The Planning & Buying Associate is a dual role that will assist in producing strategic media plans as well as executing direct mail buying. The Associate will provide data-driven media plan recommendations that will positively impact client performance. The Associate will be instrumental in advocating for the approval of these plans and as needed will participate in client meetings and presentations that outline media objectives, KPIs, and budget. The Associate will also be responsible for buying direct mail, ensuring that direct mail orders are executed with 100% accuracy. This role will work closely with the Associate Director of Planning & Buying, as well as the larger planning team, to strategize and optimize direct mail campaigns. The Associate will work collaboratively with the other Planning & Buying Associates to ensure best-in-class service for our clients.

ASSOCIATE, MEDIA PLANNING & BUYING ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Producing timely and strategic media plans that include clear objectives, KPIs, and ideal budget recommendations. 
  • Execute direct mail orders, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely delivery of all orders.
  • Will communicate media plan, performance & KPI achievement, providing Clients with thoughtful insights on next steps and updated media recommendations, inclusive of periodic Client presentations.
  • Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with the larger media planning team to ensure Imaginuity is providing best-in-class media strategies and budget recommendations.
  • Leverage AdScience® to identify market opportunities and educate the Client on market performance.
  • Continue to evolve QA processes to ensure the highest accuracy with all deliverables. 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 1 years’ experience working in the advertising/marketing field, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or another related field.
  • Must have a high attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage various deliverables with quick turnarounds while meeting all deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment.
  • Excellent written & oral communication, presentation, editing & copywriting skills.
  • Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
  • High level of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
