IMI Association Executives is Hiring a Member Services Associate - Parttime - Hybrid in Raleigh,NC Near Raleigh, NC

IMI Association Executives Inc. is a full-service association management company (AMC), a for-profit organization that manages associations and non-profits to help them grow and prosper. We offer the expertise, staffing, and resources that allow non-profits to manage day-to-day operations and advance their long-term goals.

We're looking for a Member Services Associate who is passionate about making a difference, likes to wear different hats, and wants to have their creativity and new ideas valued.

Classification: Part-Time; approximately 5-5.5 hours/day Mon-Fri (25-28 hours/week)/ Non-Exempt / Hybrid

Travel: 10%

Start Date: June 2024

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide front desk reception support as part of our in-office team.
  • Provide administrative services and serve as the first point of contact for members and prospective members.
  • Manage online calendars and appointments, including coordinate and schedule meetings.
  • Manage email account and handle correspondence on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinate and manage various projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain an understanding of the association’s benefits and initiatives to effectively educate prospects and new members about joining and getting involved.
  • Compile monthly membership reports.
  • Maintain the integrity of the membership database (update/add records).
  • Field questions/requests related to membership.
  • Assist team members as needed with membership recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Process, input into the database, and deposit membership payments.
  • Process registrations, maintain registration lists, tracks exhibitors, work with sponsors, order conference supplies, and generate attendee badges and registration packets. This position may also be on-site at conferences and will assist with registration and other on-site logistics.
  • Assist with the administrative support of communications and materials required by Board Members or staff.
  • Update website content as needed to include FAQ pages, webinars, conference information, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to think through problem-solving situations critically.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets), Doodle and Zoom
  • Amazing organizational skills with exceptional, consistent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Two-year college degree or two years of administrative experience.
