Immaculata University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach in the higher education program at both doctoral and master's levels. Candidates interested in supporting part time graduate students within a cohort model to advance their professional knowledge are encouraged to apply. Most courses run in an online synchronous format over a 7- week period. Classes to be staffed include:

• Higher Education Administration and Leadership
• Foundations of American Higher Education
• Diversity and Multiculturalism in Higher Education
• Finance and Strategic Planning
• Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes
• Research Methods

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and goals of the program
• Work effectively within the online environment with synchronous and asynchronous sessions
• Enhance course curriculum with current readings and resources
• Facilitate discussion and encourage development of critical thinking about current issues in higher education
• Engage actively with students during scheduled class sessions, through online discussions, and as needed to support learning
• Assess student learning consistently and responsively
• Encourage development of a scholar-practitioner mindset through supportive, growth-oriented feedback on assignments and engagement in a community of shared learning
• Respond to students' emails and questions, and be available to assist students throughout the course
• Promote the mission of Immaculata University through respectful dialogue and support of each person's potential

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have an earned doctoral degree, teaching experience, and recently held administrative or faculty position within the higher education arena.
• Preference will be given to candidates with professional/academic experience consistent with relevant courses
