Founded by skincare industry veteran Karen Ballou, Immunocologie is a Clean – Luxury Skincare brand based in New York City. Following her successful battle with hodgkins lymphoma, Karen desired a skincare product as clean as it was healthy, effective, and luxurious. Immunocologie is about the skin's immunity for skin health for the skin. By understanding the skin is the body’s largest organ and first line of immunological defense. The brand uses some of the world’s finest cold pressed, sustainably and equitably sourced natural raw actives, We use natural skincare science to deliver minerals, nutrients and antioxidants to luxuriously empower your skin to perform at its healthiest and most refined for the most effective for the skin and the microbiome.

Role:

As an emerging brand in the luxury and clean beauty space, the role of digital story telling is an essential asset to building our brand and our business. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate for building brands through this medium and who can bring positive culture and unique creative and globally minded vision to a fast paced, highly entrepreneurial environment. The roles core responsibility is the daily execution and optimization of our digital/event strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite assessment and assistance to wholesale retailers.
  • Help cultivate and maintain partnerships with distributors and wholesale retailers.
  • Assist with product launch, design, packaging, sourcing, and implementation.
  • Help design email campaigns with copy, subjects, previews, and media assets in Notion.
  • Collaborate with the social media team for synchronized marketing campaigns.
  • Create monthly product plans for email campaigns via Creative Briefs.
  • Assist in managing sales and vendor booths at events, coordinating spa and consumer outreach.
  • Work with the marketing team on email outreach to potential wholesale clients, consumers, brand ambassadors, and other businesses.
  • Organize and assist in product shipment for events.
  • Assemble gift bags and samples for events or client outreach.
  • Help plan and execute events, including organizing product shipments, assembling samples, and creating marketing materials.
  • Assist in creating necessary collateral for events, wholesale retailers, or signage.
  • Help produce press releases and social media campaigns for events.
  • Maintain and update customer email lists, phone numbers, and company names.
  • Cultivate and maintain an updated master email list for outreach and communication efforts.
  • Help organize model photo shoots
  • Create decks for educational training for retailers and potential wholesale accounts.
  • Assist e-commerce through Klaviyo and Shopify
  • Review the website and Shopify updates weekly to ensure it functions correctly with no errors or broken links
  • Help with website updates/creating new landing pages
  • Assist with managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, and Youtube Ads.
  • Help with developing data-driven paid marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Assist with monitoring campaign performance metrics (CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, CPA)
  • Help with creating reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist the creative team with developing compelling ad copy and visuals aligned with brand messaging.
  • Help with utilizing Google Analytics (including G4) and other analytics tools to track user behavior, website performance, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining comprehensive dashboards and reports highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
  • Observe and learn how data is translated into actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Assist with conducting keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for website content and landing page optimization.
  • Observe and learn how organic search rankings and traffic are monitored and analyzed.
  • Contribute ideas for SEO/SEM strategies to increase organic search visibility.

Note: MUST BE BASED IN NYC. You will mostly be working from home except for event days. This is a 3 month UNPAID internship with possibility to hire after 3 month review. Can be used for college credit.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years relevant experience in the beauty industry and bring creative, new, exciting ideas to improve the company. Expect rigorous schedule – more of an entrepreneurial environment – certainly not for the individual who has 9-5; 5 days per week expectations.

Must be proficient in the following applications or programs: 

Microsoft Office, Google Apps for Business, Dropbox, Adobe Creative Suite, Instagram, TikTok, Klaviyo, Facebook for business, Google Analytics, Google Adwords. AI/UX, Social media management platforms.
