The Recovery Café Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Recovery Cafe's programs. This role involves strategic planning, staff management, and ensuring that the programs effectively meet the needs of the community and support the organization's mission. The Recovery Café Program Manager will be responsible for the successful operation of all programs at the Recovery Cafe, ensuring they effectively support members in their journey towards recovery, health, and stability. Please note: To accommodate the needs of the Recovery Cafe members, this position may include working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.Requirements
Oversee the creation and implementation of programs that support recovery, including educational workshops, skill-building sessions, peer support groups, and recreational activities
Manage program staff, including training and performance evaluations.
Ensure staff are well-equipped to meet the needs of members
Ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively to support program objectives
Collaborate with community organizations, stakeholders, and partners to enhance program offerings and reach.
Act as a liaison to promote the organization's interests and integration in the community
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through feedback, data analysis, and implementation of improvements.
Prepare reports for the board of directors, funders, and other stakeholders
Ensure that programs are responsive to the needs of members by soliciting their input and facilitating their active participation in program planning and execution
Address and manage any crises that arise within the program, ensuring the safety and well-being of all members and staff
Excellent organizational, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Strong understanding of the issues facing individuals recovering from addiction, homelessness, and mental health disorders
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team
Proficiency in data management and analysis tools for effective program evaluation
Compassionate and supportive leadership style, with a deep commitment to recovery principles
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field required
Prior experience in program management, preferably in non-profit or recovery-focused organizations is advantageous
