Job Title: Internist/Internal Medicine Physician

Location: Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and board-certified Internist/Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive care to patients in our hospital-based setting. The successful candidate will be able to diagnose, treat and manage the wide range of conditions and illnesses affecting adults. This role offers the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, emphasizing primary care.

- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of illnesses and conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide guidance on preventive health measures
- Monitor and manage chronic illnesses
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain accurate patient records

- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- License to practice medicine in the State of Mississippi
- Ability to work cooperatively with other medical professionals
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems

- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical skills 
- Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent bedside manner
- Ability to establish trusting relationships with patients
